Samantha Engelbrecht grew up in Weybridge in the home counties where her first experience of the entertainment industry was auditioning for productions such as ‘Annie’ through the Stage Coach agency. At the age of 16 Samantha knew she was destined for bigger things and moved to London to study drama and attend the Sylvia Young Theatre School. As well as acting Samantha soon dicovered another love, that of professional model. This has proved invaluable in that it has enabled her to continue to do what she has always been passionate about, – expressing herself in front of the camera. To date she has featured in such high profile publications as ‘OK Magazine’, ‘QVC’, ‘Jean Paul Gautier’ and others. So far 2013 is looking particularly bright for Samantha with a number of exciting new projects in the pipeline. She has just accepted the lead role in a new horror film playing one of the baddies, a part Samantha will relish for providing her with an opportunity to show off her range as she switches moods rapidly from sweet and innocent to sinister and downright evil.
