Ray was born in South East London and acting has been a passion for him since he was five years old. Since then he has appeared in films, theatre and commercials. Ray trained on a course called “In front of camera” over a two year period with the London based Translantic Films, and with Jon Campbell acting and also an eighteen month acting course at Morley College London and more recently RADA workshops. Recently he has appeared in Alan Ayckbourn’ s “Comic Potential” as Lester Trainsmith and as a gangland boss in the short film “The Boss” He has done numerous roles in corporate films and played Dennis Thatcher alongside Alan Carr in his “Summertime “Specs”tacular for C4. Another stage role was as a transgender bishop in “Ah Men” at the Soho theatre and recently he played Kell Hutchence for the ITV series Autopsy and Papa Joffre for BBC i-player and has just finished a commercial for the Bermondsey regeneration council called “Bid for the Blue” where he played the role of Bernie.
